– A 50% deposit is required to confirm any booking. This deposit is non-refundable.
– Full payment must be made at least 14 days prior to the booked fishing date to secure your guide, equipment, fishing permits, and chosen fishing days.
– For last-minute bookings, full payment is accepted on the day.
🚫 Client Cancellation Policy
– When a specific fishing or casting lesson date is requested and confirmed, clients are expected to commit to that date.
– Cancellation or postponement for any reason will result in a 50% refund of the total amount paid.
– Cancellations within 48 hours of the booked date are non-refundable (100% of the fee is retained), unless a replacement client is found.
– The 50% cancellation fee applies even in the case of medical emergencies.
– However, we are happy to reschedule your booking at no extra cost, subject to availability.
🌧️ Weather & Water Conditions Policy
– If we are forced to cancel or postpone your booking due to adverse weather or river conditions, you will not lose any money.
– You may reschedule at no additional cost or carry forward your payment to a future date.
– Please note that bad weather, low water levels, or lack of fish are outside our control and do not qualify for a refund if fishing goes ahead as planned.
❌Refund Policy for Salmon Fishing Permits in Scotland – Non-Refundable
– Most permits (especially on well-known rivers like the Tay, Spey, Dee, or Tweed) are non-refundable.
– This includes bad weather, high/low water levels, no fish caught, and personal cancellation.
– This is because permits are limited and reserved in advance, often months ahead.
🎣 Guide Cancellation Policcy
– If we must cancel or postpone your booking, you will receive a full refund or may choose to reschedule at no cost.
– We always aim to provide alternative arrangements wherever possible.
